Don't let you biased brain boss you around

Bias is the unconscious driver that influences how we perceive the world around us. This also affects how we make decisions as a coach and in some instances it may negatively impact the way we coach.

Can you eliminate your bias completely?
No!
Surprised?

We unwittingly favor certain types of people based on our upbringing, experience and values because human beings need bias to survive, diversity experts say. However left unchecked on the job, unconscious bias can affect the way we coach, facilitate and the people we chose to work with.

As coaches, we are well aware and understand the need for Coaching Presence. It is in being non judgmental and fully present that we help our clients get their desired outcomes. As coaches, how can we manage our bias and coach our clients to their potential and manage our business effectively ?

In this interactive session, Lalita Raman, Executive, Leadership and Communications Coach, Facilitator and Founder of Transitions Intl. Limited, will explore various situations.
Understand the reasons for the source of our bias
Learn to recognise our "Blind Spots"
Manage our bias that creeps into our thought process
Manage our brain and those of others so that bias does not affect the desired outcome
Manage our brain better to be a better communicator, leader and make better decisions for ourselves, and enable our coaching clients to get their desired breakthroughs.
