Direct Communication:
Aggressive, Passive or Assertive and Diplomatic? Direct Communication is one of the key ICF competencies and focuses on the Coach's ability to communicate effectively during coaching sessions and use language in a way that has the greatest positive impact on the client. In this mentoring session, we will explore the concept of Direct Communication and facilitate a sharing of insights and experiences. We will ask ourselves … what do we mean by Direct Communication and what behaviours/ actions in the way we communicate will help us to better connect with clients? Coaching practice will focus on role-plays in establishing this connection with clients. Facilitator/Mentor coach: Lalita Raman Lalita Raman is an Executive Coach and Facilitator. She believes that we live in the world of communications and it is as important as food, water and air. Lalita's coaching niche is in enhancing Executive Presence. She also facilitates training on leadership and communication in the Corporate World. |
